In Treviglio’s plant, our brand new photovoltaic system came into operation in 2024 with the aim of producing clean energy and improving our energy efficiency. We believe that investing in renewable energy sources is a duty and an act of respect towards our Planet: that is why our connection with history and tradition merges with modernity and with the most advanced technologies, allowing us to satisfy the consumer without forgetting to also take care of the environment around us.
But it does not end here. At MAURI we are committed every single day to protecting the environment, studying and experimenting with alternative solutions for the packaging of our cheeses: the use of recycled and/or easily recyclable plastics, the reduction of plastic’s weight in our packaging and the experimentation of more sustainable and innovative materials are just some of the key objectives that guide our actions and that we will continue to pursue in the years to come.
