Ripened Cheeses

Mauri ripens its most representative products in Pasturo, a beautiful small town in the green and shiny Valsassina valley, that lays at the bottoms of Grigna mountain. Maturation in the natural caves – called “casere” – gives to the Mauri cheeses a unique personality.

Pasturo plant is located in the green and shiny Valsassina Valley, at the bottoms of Grigna mountain. According to the Mauri tradition, Taleggio molds are ripened in the natural caves called “ casere”.
